    Third brake light housing removal?

How do you remove this.... I have something in the works... I won't say what, but I would like to know how to remove the light housing for measurements.

    Thanks, JR

There are two "button" like covers on either side of the third brake like, you take those off and there are screws behind them. Then you have to take those out and the light should just come loose.

Having my mom machine a plate to go over it that says "SHAKEDOWN" hopefully they have some chromium left over, if not Ill use aluminum and spray it blue like the interior. I need to get the measuring done though. Im not sure if it will look too tacky or not, I want it to look stock, but custom. I guess clean would be a better word.

            Thanks for the help guys.

That sounds pretty cool, I did something similair a year or so ago with a peice of cardboard and a old stencil press thing,

It didnt come out too bad, but the lights didnt light up the all the letters like I hoped, and it was shortly after I took off the tint on the back window, so it looks nasty in the pic.

                that^

Would look badass if it was converted to a bunch of LED's for more even lighting. I dunno how involved that would be though.
