                    '85 ghetto fix

                    no pix, but i removed the steering column from my CP this evening and sure enough the little bracket which holds the cable housing was cracked, allowing it to move when the shifter was engaged...

                    so i took a zip tie up & over the shifter rod and around the bracket, pulled it tight so that it wouldn't spin.

                    pleased to say it worked (at least for now).
