Hi All,
I finally bit the bullet and decided to fix the leather seats. Saturday I went to CT and visited Pete, Wagonman, where amongst other things we removed my seats. If anyone has any detail questions, just ask.
Here Are my 1986 vintage seats out of the car:
Here is what I'm driving on now, 1992 vintage:
A lot of room in there with only one seat.
It is bolted in with one bolt & wood shims:
It is so high I keep banging my head on the door frame on entering the vehicle. Someday I'll get the hang of it. To achieve this we needed to remove the two rear mounting studs from the body. The wire plugs in so the power motors work.
This is the inside after the rugs is removed.
The rear pans:
The front pans with a rough outline of the areas that need to be replaced;
All union jobs require an onsite inspector:
Jay
