Driver seatbelt lock is stuck in lock position....?

    Driver seatbelt lock is stuck in lock position....?

    My wife somehow managed to screw up the seatbelt lock. Now the lock is engaged which means I can't insert the seatbelt. This ever happen to anyone else and if so what did you do to fix it?

    Lock? In the buckle or the actual belt where it goes into the b pillar? On the older cars, you just open the door to release the lock.

      Yeah the buckle is stuck in the locked position so when I try to insert the seat belt it won't latch.

        Just a thought, once I couldn't get the buckle to latch, it ended up being a nickel in there.

          Heh, yeah there isn't anything in there jamming it up. There also isn't any screws on the casing for me to disassemble it. I guess I am gonna try picking at it with a small flathead in hopes to unlock it.
