Air pump and pollution pipes..'86 MGM

Ok, thats it!....I am tired of replacing the exhaust pollution pipes that are part of the air pump system?
Anyway I need to understand what I have to purchase to ash can the air pump, and those small pollution pipes.

I know the fan belt has to be changed, and some kind of bracket has to replace the pump bracket?.......and what do I do to cover up the holes that those small pipes attached to?

    Thanks in advance!!

Smaller belt and round file everything except the crossover pipe behind the engine. The vacuum line on the pump should go to a T check valve by the cruise control servo. You can pull that line out of the car and cap the check valve it comes off of. Plug the cats (pinch tube and weld? jbweld a bolt in? whatever... just plug the hole) after removing the air injection pipes from them. Remove pump. Install shorter belt. plug the crossover pipe if it's not rusted. If it is... cut the rear tabs off and mount them backwards (flat side to the heads) with some high heat RTV (ultra copper or better). Done.
