That sounded like it pulled good.

Like Tiggie asked, how does it feel at that speed? Any float or just smooth tracking?

    Sounds like a nice grab.

You’re not too far away from myself and TecNickal. I’m across the border near Augusta and he’s up near Columbia, just in case you ever need anything you can’t find nearby.

56 should be the 64 substitute. I've seen 58s used in place of 59 and 65 batteries though.

I think a Group 27 or 24 have a similar enough footprint to a 64 if you needed to get something common.

Got a Class III/IV receiver installed today. Got this Putnam unit free from TecNickal, and reportedly came used from like a '92 Crown Victoria.

There's a little nub that has to be ground down to allow for the 65 to sit flat in that area. Otherwise, you risk the chance of the case getting damaged.

There was a 65 in my '87 when I got it,...

Given almost humidity around 50% and a warm day, sweaty lines aren’t going to be uncommon. That’s par for the course down here. If they were icing up, then I’d be concerned.

    FS: 2.73 Gears

In case anyone is looking for a set of economy gears, I do have a used set. They’re 1997 originals with almost 215K on them.

I always wondered about the AOD/AOD-E pairings given their 2.40 1st gear ratio vs 2.84 1st gear in the 4R70W. The 3.27 seems to be the right amount of gear behind a LoPo and AOD, but I couldn't...
