CFEh?
Yep, I'm still alive and kicking, but Pantherless these days, so not really FULLY alive lol
Yep, the head is for higher compression. Scott, the only real outside difference besides looking at the...
But if anyone here frequents wrecking yards or u-pull places I sure could use some help.
I'm looking for a cylinder head for a Ford 240 in line six. They came in the 1963-1977 Ford...
It has hydraulic lifters.
No battery? No thanks!

I got a lifter tick of sorts. Valve stem hammered flat on the 240 in my 68 F250. All I did was tighten down the rocker to take up some slack and keep STP oil treatment in it to keep the...
It's going to be cheaper and easier to mod the 351 and transmission.
The way I did it (Engine on the stand, so it would probably be a pain in the ass in your case) was to take the oil pan off and loosen the rear main cap. The seal comes out super easy and goes in just...
I did that once, except my battery was dead and I had my boss jump start it. My cables were also color coded wrong, and for some reason I forgot about this. Car sounded funny when I tried to start...
Ahhh, a GMNer's car on Roadkill. Cool stuff. I was also disappointed that the LTD wasn't picked. The wagon was boring as crap, as was the whole episode. The kid was a moron.
I'd start with the valve body. It's easy to pull, and you can find out really quick if you have any sticking valves or crap clogging up the works. If you are doing a fluid change might as well spend...
I know I'm digging up bones here, but what belt did you end up going with after you ditched the power steering?
Bought some pulley's from Wagonman, cool dude, shipped the stuff promptly, great packaging, very happy!
Ah damn. Also realized I probably shouldn't have asked this here, since it's not really related to what's in here lol.
Rear end too. Once the bushings start going out your ass end will start to sway back and forth and generally wander wherever it wants to.
I've been looking to buy a tranny mount when it comes to doing the swap in my truck, but according to Rockauto there's different ones depending on what year AOD it is. I'm not sure if the difference...
The No Yo-Yo is similar, drill out one hole and add a cotter pin to another to reduce the hole size. Some valve spring changes, and you have to shorten the pin on the OD servo.
I've installed the Transgo No Yo-Yo kit before, it worked great. Crisped up the shifts a bit, but like Gadget said the WOT shifts are still not very positive.
Ye, it's a serpentine belt. Just not the crazy serpentine one that goes all over the place. Just the simple 80's stuff.
Need help guys, looking for the crank pulley and water pump pulley for a 302, none serpentine, the regular boring flat six rib belt variety or however many ribs they have. Like 1985 and below or...
Funny, I'm friends with a guy named Matt McLaughlin here where I live, Sam McLaughlin was his great great whatever.
The carpet stain and spot remover they sell works great too.
This story makes me angry, and it didn't even happen to me.
I'm sure the mechanic of their choosing will be the same dipshit that didn't put the front drain plug back in.
I haven't changed the dino oil in the Suzuki in 13,000 miles. Can still see through it.
Also, I don't recommend Seafoam in the engine. My truck never had any lower end noise before I used that...
I think they were all grey. Not sure though.
