How does the headlight trim/grille surround chrome look? Door handles? Is the rear reflector pristine enough to bother boxing up to ship south?

That's the wrong side for cooler fittings though
Never knew ARP made engine mount bolts, and I ordered just about all of their parts I could for my 408. I reused stock hardware for the mount and it's held just fine
Yes, I picked up a complete motor back in June super cheap. D3 heads/d9 block. Perfectly fine for what I'm planning to do with it (the block and crank anyways...)
The ones I'm running were a set of cheap chrome clad ones from a Ford Racing appearance kit i got way back in the day. I've only had them installed on my 408, and that had stud mounted 1.72 scorpion...
I'm still rollin the vintage early 80s frames on both cars. Before even clicking on the link I figured they were for the trucks that do the front end swaps and their big blocks :)
I've got a...
+1 internets to you, good sir, for the use of "whence".
Some 100 octane will make it smell better, no need for cats
Overseized balljoints are a thing? If the arm hole is wallerd out, just get a new one. It's not like there aint a junkyard full of them in every country bumpkin locale across the states
you'll have to have a bit of custom work done, but a set of mustang 5.0 headers and h-pipe will bolt up to your engine and chassis just fine. Its the back half of the car that's got to be different
Hey, I resemble that remark...
Way back in the day for my first mod, I put my ported e7s on underneath the stock cfi garbage on my 84. Gave it a nice kick in the pants upgrade, but I wasn't gonna go race the streets with it....
You misspelled carburetor
I'd put that one back in your holster there chief. The polishing part of "porting and polishing" heads and intakes wouldn't be a thing if airflow followed Derek's Laws of Fluid Dynamics
I have a set of aftermarket mustang shorty headers, will flow better, and are just as rusty. I'll ship wherever your are if you cover the costs
Welcome to the forum. I joined CVN way back in like 2003. One of the og members that opened this site. We got a good admin team here, so feel free to msg us with any issues. We put a lot of work in...
Welcome to the Texan 2dr club!
I can't recall if my 84 had a power seat, but you can ha e any parts from it you need
I got a pair of mark 6 triangle glass from the back sides, but don't think they'd fit [emoji846]
I'm out this year, because... reasons. Reasons that ill explain soon enough.
Have fun y'all
If I can sell some of the Mark 6 specific trim, interior, and other bits from the coupe shell I scrapped, I'd be ahead.
Maybe not "profit" per se... but at least the rust-free doors and fenders I...
1. Buy your own parts cars
2. Save what you want
3. Save what others might want
4. Haul the rest to the junkyard
5. Profit
Welcome! Old lady cars are best cars. I'm over in Gville if your ever in the area and want to check out my hotrods
It is a dickache, but it'll take a bit of money to reliably put power to the ground with as much weight as these cars carry. I don't want to be the guy to oil down the track as his wheel rolls...
