Pete, no bulb under the hood, or the trunk or the glove box! Thanks for the part number!
The commies are in full control, God save us all.
Frankie keeping anything in the trunk of a car parked on the streets of NYC is a fools mission.
Ok here we go again with this shit!.........went out to the car this morning....click click click, no crank.....lights yes, radio yes, no crank. Call AA for a boost. Left cables on, if the f-ing...

Thanks gents, I just do not want to sound stupid when I am asked questions by salvage yards I am starting to call.
Its amazing how the lid has rusted, even though the car was Z-barted when...
Gents I need to know if the trunk lid on a 1986 and 1987 Tudor MGM is the same lid as that on the four door models?
Do not want to sound like an A hole when I begin to call salvage places around the...
Need a rust free trunk lid for my '86 MGM Tudor, with keys and lock if possible.
The car has auto trunk release, do not know if that matters???
Thanks in advance;-)
Need a trunk lid for my Tudor MGM. The same lid was used for Tudors and Four doors from 1980-1987.
Interesting info, on my '86 MGM 5.0 when on the expressway and I stomp on the gas the entire car shudders as it goes into the "passing" gear.
Keep it up Pete, you are sure to wind up on the D&B roll of the most trusted and revered "WD's" :-)
So I painted over the grey primed outside gas door on my '86 Tudor MGM.
The code 8-A (med sand beige)and it looks great, no need to clear coat the thing, it would look better than the rest of the...
Yes the remote door was used from 1983-1991. Notice that you have two cars that the FoMoCo parts book claims did not have the release......typical for Ford one never knows what is gospel or is not;-(
Follow up...........I removed the two metal pieces, why?......because if after pressing the release button the door does not open up I will be forced to pry it open, and we all know what that means.
Thanks Dave I was concerned because I pushed the door tight into the q-panel flush..............BUT!!!!!!! when I pressed the release button in my glove compartment the door did not release, had to...
So help out an "old" gent........on my '86 MGM Tudor with remote release Fuel Filler Door (although this applies to all box cars from 1983-1991)
There are two metal parts attached to the inside of...
Pete I just left you a voice message on your phone, and I left my home number here in NYC.
Door was glued
Pete, I have the kind that opens via a switch/button in the glove compartment.
Color of car is "Sand Beige"..........but the door skin could always be painted with some SEM paint in a can.
Many thanks!
PS.......Any special tools needed to R&R the door skin to the swinging...
Tom thanks for your thoughts, as the temps here in NYC are in the low 30's, I would think no glue would be able to cure as recommended. Candidly I had no idea that the entire assembly was/is...
Dave!!!!!! Jeeze the chassis and trans look clean enough to eat off of!!............Amazing!
So, as most of you know my '86 MGM Tudor lives on the mean streets of New York City. And one has to always expect the worst shit to happen to ones ride!
So today I went out to the car and found...
