Exactly. That is probably the worst feature off the Marauder.

Yea I checked mine on the 03 at about 30Kmiles. The car was made Mar 03?. It is a 300B. Don't know about the shafts. Maybe I will check again at 40K.
It certainly wouldn't hurt to check the axle play when you have it off the ground just because even the normal ones go from time to time. often due to weepy seals and thus low oil.
IIRC it was fixed by 04.
With all the details of modern engineering it is amazing we remember significant parts of anything.
03 Marauder was 28. I believe the 04 was also. Though strangely enough they used a unique carrier.
I have used the visegrip method as well. I believe all 8.8 rears were originally 28 spline through 03. not sure if they changed in 04 or 05. possible exceptions being limos rears and trucks?
I prefer the fanlesss units. I can't remember if flash to pass works on the Marauder. Will see when it comes out for the summer.
Sly did you indicate that Sealight and Auxito allow both segments to light simultaneously? Also I looked in the FAQ on amazon for the sealight and found that these bulbs do not have fans and these...
Just thought I would mention I bench tested my bulbs. I put on Oxy Acetylene goggles because I knew they would be bright. Well those goggles were not nearly dark enough. The image of those 3 led...
Hi.
Are you using a single led "bulb" with two rows of emitters? If so I don't believe that the bulb will let you power both rows of emitters at the same time. If your flash to pass merely adds...
Is it that easy to tell steel from cast iron?
I am sure your neighbor feels really good and empowered now.
IIRC there are replacement plugs with pigtails that can be used to decrease the likelihood of fire. Perhaps others will comment on that. I side with doing the upgrade to 3G.
Yes brake lines should be bread and butter for any competent shop or patient DIY. I was thinking that SBF stuff and older ford in general and mustang "specialists" might be a good thing. Though any...
It is good to find a shop you trust. Perhaps you could consider a shop that works on old mustangs? That would be a closer fit.
Woo Hooo
Let us know how the tool works out.
Also you might request that the shop use Copper Nickel lines which are highly rust resistant and very easy to use. If not them then at least a coated steel line.
What I have read about the EGR system is that it actually provides a small increase in fuel efficiency along with a decrease in emissions. Basically it returns a portion of exhaust containing...
Looks like you can use fanless led bulbs in those housings. I used the basic Beamtech bulbs. I have had no failures yet. Very good and fair results on beam patterns. There appears to be many...
Is the back of the headlight bulb outside the seal for the headlight housings?
