so here is the the area I think the leak is coming from sorry cannot add a call out...but it is where the tstat housing meets the plastic part that mates with the block...

Ok , been doing more research...the manifold is the upgraded OEM manifold, not the Dorman manifold, so gaskets are required. The leak appears to be coming from the thermostat housing where the bottom...

There actually is a torque sequence....went to the dealer and the parts department printed it out from the shop manual....all 4 bolts....bottom, mid rear, mid front and then top.. it was a fun three...
is there a torque pattern for the three bolts that hold the adapter on? I know the torque value is between 15 and 22 ftlbs.
