Factory p and d. side power seats origins are from fuse 12 through a junction block under the dash behind the fuse panel. Dont know if the junction block existed in 82.

Anything ever come of this?
One of those just sold on BAT (bring a trailer) for near that: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1980-ford-thunderbird-2/
Wasnt going to post this but one of the photos gave me a good chuckle:

That was gone quick. I didnt see it while it was live but seen the price. High enough to deter derby guys?
Yeah. You aint kidding. Been watching those threads pop up for the past few months now.
Not bad looking. I dont see daylight through the trunk...works for me!
I like the color a lot. Shines up nicely.
This is funny:

Some cool things that recently popped up:
COMPAC CASSETTER ILLUMINATED AUTOMOBILE CASSETTE COMPARTMENT

I know I have seen some four door models in the past as well. If I had the skills it would be fun to make a replica.
This looks to be a good buy.
Very good color!

I failed to notice it now has a BIN price of 12.5k.
Apparently the previous auctions bids to 17.2k were fraudulent.
This is so cool.

I dont see them working on a wagon. That could just be me not seeing the vision one may have. I just see them on the c pillar ontop of the vinyl. There is some kinda light fixture still needed to use...
One large charge cable with mega fuse
New voltage regulator plug. One wire to charge post and another to the red/green wire that exists on your current voltage regulator.
Disconnect old charge...
Did you use the Taurus Fuse? If so how did you incorporate it? Direct to solenoid, battery or a fuse holder then solenoid or battery?
These have been hard to find. I have either a drivers side or passanger side NOS piece that I purchased 8+ years ago and this is the first time I happen to come across another...a set no less....
Thanks for the insider intel.
I bought a degree wheel kit for my engine build...read the instructions and just didn't bother. Its somewhere in the garage for future use.
Just guessing here. Looks like the factory ford taurus charge wire...Distinct color...been there did that. :)
Things are getting out of reach nowadays with the 80's vehicles. 80/early 90 foxbody Mustangs are going for ridiculous prices...These cars which were once cheap (like the mustangs a few years back)...
Neat. Amazing how new things can just bolt right in all these years later into a car not originally designed for it.
It was already bid to 17.2k and it did not sell in one of its previous auctions.
