The fuel mixture will be way off for E85. I also don't know about the O rings and other parts in the fuel system. If you replaced the rubber parts and tuned the ECM to deliver the additional fuel...
yeah they're all like that, and they're all pretty shitty. I would like to find one with screw jacks or even some sort of in-line housing but no dice. I guess I could learn how to design circuit...
I had that problem with a totally different trans and it was garbage in the governor. With your other low rpm shifting thing, I wonder if thats not the problem.
have to fish around to see which fuse link splits into a pair of black/orange wires. Thats the original alternator charge cable. Should be able to remove that one. The rest need to stay since...
The later factory ground cable has a fat wire down to the block, a smaller wire that goes to the rad support, and a teeny wire for the ECM ground. Thats the one with the connector that kind of looks...
Torch and make the collector nuts red hot. They will come right out afterward.
If the battery is too low to power the ECM while the engine cranks, it might do this. Try to jump it and see what you get. Crusty connections at the starter relay will cause problems, so will bad...
Mark 8 wheels have a different bolt pattern. You'd need an adapter to make it go. Forget the metric but its basically 5x4.25 vs 5x4.5.
I have Mark VII LSC wheels on mine. Needs spacers to make...
I used one of these in the Continental for that purpose

gear calc says that 3800 in 2nd with a 3.55 and stock-ish size tires (26.6") would be 58. Would be 34 in first gear. I'm assuming stock ratio AOD at least. Wide ratio would be 55 and 30...
are you sure the tach is right? If it really is shifting that low, you're probably losing a lot of potential because of it. The HO governor typically goes around 4800, the lopo one is about 4300.
it does a wide open shift at only 3800? Thats like a thousand too low. Also must be a hell of an aggressive shift kit if it breaks the tires loose at that rpm.
depends what year and which amp, but the older ones had 3 wires heading to the amp for the front speakers, and more modern stereos need 4, 2 per-speaker. The original premium setup had a common...
yeah, thats not going to play well with the Kenny. You should be able to get sound out of the rear speakers but possibly its shorting something out because the amp is there. Try unplugging it and...
first one has a lot of rambling but there is a start and idle bit at the end there. Also get to see a big part of what prompted the cam swap, though I honestly did not know that damage was there...
see if it changes with the TPS. Throttle position may change a bit and that might be enough to do it.
otherwise you can lower the TV pressure a smidge, but too low will cause damage.
If you're feeling brave you can drill it on the car. Its going to dump aluminum shavings down the hole. If the valve isn't open you can blast it with air and get most of the chips out if the upper...
Do you have an amp in the trunk? Is it bypassed? If so, how exactly? The premium sound cars came with an amp, some are only amplified on the front speakers, some are on all 4 speakers.
What...
I'm pretty happy with my XE-258, but I don't have a lot of basis for comparison. I have run a lopo, an HO, and an Explorer cam in the same car but not with precisely the same mix of other parts. ...
If the air temp sensor doesn't hit some number, it doesn't go into long term fuel trim learn. I think its 140F? Something like that. The early GT40 has a flat spot where the sensor would be, and...
Its not really valves hitting the pistons. Thats a function of duration, the extra smidgen of lift will not affect that. What you need is proper lifter preload, and the rocker has to contact the...
specifically why I don't like the blue-white. It looks too modern.
The AC system has almost no connection to the computer. It has a wide open throttle cutout relay, but the ECM has to power it to cut compressor power. with no ECM, nothing will power it. Would be...
