This morning I took the speedo head out of my original cluster that came with the car and swapped it onto the unit I got from the auto wreckers. I took it for a drive and it seems to read a lot...

and the cluster i removed from the wreckers myself, only the cable i bought through ebay.

I got the second cluster because of the circuit board, it curled over and kept blowing the fuse for the backlight display.

I replaced my instrument cluster with another cluster and put a new speedo cable in that I bought from Ebay. While driving today it "felt" like I was going slower than what the speedo was...

I ended up trying again after work. I removed the mirror and then bench tested again, there are two spots where the mirror sits in and one turns it side to side, and the other up and down. both work...

I dont see anything behind the glass, and i bench tested it again, side to side goes smooth, up and down i now hear an audible click coming from the mirror.

I tried, unfortunately it wont move. I havent put them on the car yet, only "bench tested" them.

Just found out the passenger mirror only works side to side but not up and down, I can hear it trying but it wont move. Does anyone have both passenger and driver mirror for sale? let me know.

I know, it certainly makes a difference.

as for the speedo, its just a canadian speedo, where the primary reading is kilometres
