There's various levels to a j-mod. The flow mod to get better flow and cooling to the torque converter is the main point. The shift firmness can be tuned as well. The shift firmness can also be tuned...
And this is why I just glued the Coverlay ABS cap to the old cracked dash in the Mad Marquis.
+1 j-mod will help the trans shift firmer, get better flow through the torque converter, reduce wear on the clutches, and decrease parasitic loss a little bit. Mine also gained me 1 mpg around town....
Mustang shorties work with a little modification to the down pipes.
:lol3:
In that case, you'll have to wait for someone that has the EVTMs or find yourself some online for both years.
If you still have the old one... probably best to switch out all of the electricals.
I paid a shop to weld mine on. Need to get the tails opened up for better flow and headers. Everything else in the middle is free flowing already. I did use magnaflows though. I like that sound.
I think 96 or 97... but they never really had issues until the whales and the cost cutting on the relays in them. The earlier ones were built better. Though connection corrosion has been known to...
The sensor isn't on the passenger side. It should be on the driver side. Looks like a tiny speaker grill or a protruding black capsule with a red LED in it that blinks when the car is off. Don't...
Make sure there's not anything blocking the sensor on the dash. If that's clear, you may need a new sensor. It's rare that those go bad, but it has been known to happen.
I know there is, but I can't for the life of me remember where the breaker is. I no longer have the books associated with the 88 MGM I had to even give you a clue. It may be bad connection in the...
I wish they made the seats in red velour.
Or MGM (Mercury Grand Marquis)
Like any other sticker... heat from a heat gun helps the glue release. You will need to get it just past too hot to touch for it to go smoothly. Other methods like WD40 may damage the decal even more...
I think 3/4 or 1" was reported to put the upper intake into the hood. That may have been on a 351w though, not a 302. Can't quite remember all the details.
Should be fused in the fuse box under the dash. "Instrument cluster and gauges" is usually the line item in the fuse listing in the manual. No clue which fuse though. Need the car's manual for that.
Yes. It just changes which adjuster changes camber/caster. Use the appropriate ball joint for the knuckle. The control arm will work fine.
The clusters are known for getting small cracks in the traces. These can be fixed by using some of that rear defroster repair conductive epoxy. They also can have corrosion at the connectors and...
Welcome to the party.
Original passenger lens assembly from the 88 I used to have. $30 shipped in the lower 48.

I have 4 original clips in good shape. I have 11 new 3D printed clips. Tested good on Elias's car. $5/clip + shipping.
