That's how all Box CV/MGM power seats are. Forward, Back, Up, Down, Front Up/Down, Rear Up/Down, and recline is manual.
Pretty sure Box Town Cars were the same.

If I were taller I probably wouldn't like those seats. At 5ft 9in (a little over 175cm), I like the seats that put me up a little higher.
I couldn't do manual seat with either style seat though....
Between The Ice Car and The Scab there is a noticeable difference in seat height. Both are '91 but The Ice Car is a GS (same seats as older model LS trim like yours) and The Scab is an LS trim so the...
It looks like the last year for the Box style PCV was 2002. 2003 and 2004 are similar to 2005, but 2005 has that electrical connector (some sort of sensor I would imagine.)
I think Packman is asking for his '05 MGM, which looks quite a bit different than what I'm used to seeing on a Box/Aero/Early Whales.
Rockauto listing for '05:...
There are station here with ethanol-free 87. Walmart at 23 Mile and M-53, just down the road from me, has ethanol-free. Not sure where else you can find it, but I know other places around here have...
Welcome!
Do you own a Panther or are you looking for one?
Yeah, about that...
Sunday evening pulling out of my driveway (luckily) the right front lower ball joint decided it didn't need the ball-stud and socket to remain together. Didn't get any pictures...
I very much despise those bolts. I cut the nuts off them on one occasion. Last time I removed those bolts they got anti-seize on the threads before things got put back together in case I ever needed...
Corrosion on one of the pins on master switch.
I don't think much changed with the '03+ switches other than the physical layout, but my experience is with the pre '03 switches.
The lights in the...
Got it done today, steel line it is. It was actually the line going to the rear below the driver door.
This car is such a rotbox, but the brakes function better than they ever have since I bought...
My friend who owns the hydraulic flare tool told me about the nicop lines that he used a few years ago on his F150. I have a bunch of zinc coated steel line on hand, so if I want to get it done this...
Last Saturday I popped a brake line somewhere in the front left or front center. Brakes felt a little strange returning from Lowe's with some mulch (second trip because I needed a couple more bags)....
Last Saturday I changed the oil, then went out to dinner at Cracker Barrel in Port Huron. Grabbed a couple of pics of my dirty ride after dinner.
Summer wheels have been on for a while now.

I saw a car like that in down town Utica last week. I didn't get a good look, it could have been the same car.
Must be steering component day. I changed the idler arm today on the '98, bushing was shot.
I'll keep an eye out for a decent rear bumper cover. I need one myself so I'm already looking, but mine is...
As far as I can tell the same basic dash configuration was used for all panthers '90+ when it comes to bolts and such.
I'm not familiar with box Town Cars, but if they are configured with the same...
Nice. Looks like the same color as my old '88 Country Squire (R.I.P.)
What Sly said. It would definitely be interesting to know if the driver side panel fits a pre-'90 box. The steering column changed considerably in '90 but maybe the panel would fit the pre-'90 boxes....
Although the dashes changed in '90 and remained basically the same through the end, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes very little effort to install this panel in a pre-'90 box. I never did like...
Picture from the heater core write up, the panel from a '91 MGM (The Ice Car) looks to be minorly different from the 2000 panel. The 2000 panel has a larger electrical connector to cover so that...
Went to the junkyard today in Pontiac.
Found a 2000 MGM with a factory power port right of the trans tunnel above the passenger's left foot. I didn't know that was an option, but now my car has it....
Added another gizmo, finally mounted it today after riding around on the cup holder/ashtray for a week or two.

Cheap (under $30)...
I thought that grill was later, the driver side mirror is what lead me to believe it is likely '79 possibly '80. I thought I read somewhere that the clear lenses and center plate were '79 only, but...
Welcome!
Teaser shot for sure. '79 or '80?
