Looks good!
By default when attaching an image it is inserted into the post as a small clickable attachment.
The way I make it show up as a large image is by using the "IMG" tag.
Example...
Standard sound system '90-'91 had those speaker housing pods. Premium had the same pods with a "Premium Sound" emblem on them in the spot where the standard sound pods had "Stereo" stamped. The...
+1, cargo area sports the original color.
I really like that color combo on a wagon, but I'm also a bit partial since that's the color my '88 Country Squire was.
Same here, I left my brackets alone on both, although I can see how it would help to grind that bracket down a little especially if you have a larger pully on the altenator.
Here is what the 1991 Ford Shop Manual has for CV/MGM:

On '91 it's just a 194 bulb. I don't recall how that bulb is mounted on a pre-90 box since I've never had to bother with that bulb on any of my pre-90 boxes.
Welcome!
The car looks great.
Welcome!
First year of the 4.6L Modular motor in the Mercury Grand Marquis.
Depending on the build date you have either an AOD transmission or the AOD-E.
I quick visual to tell is the PRNDL. I'm...
I forgot I also have an '89 EVTM which may be more similar to '86.
In '89 they labeled the connector C320, and it is further up under the dash compared to the '91 location in the kick panel. Also...
Well, I'm an idiot. Sorry for the confusion.
It looks like the trailer harness should plug in at C213 which is very much present on non-tow package cars according to the 1991 EVTM (90-4).
C213 is...
C213 and C252 were present on tow package cars. Between these two connectors is where the harness to the relays plugged in. On non-tow package cars these connectors are not present (according to the...
I was hoping I would get a chance to use the hitch today to transport my uncle's empty car dolly back to my parents' place after a friend borrowed it. I've towed that dolly a few times with The Scab...
+1 Vampire taps is is what I call them as well, and they don't belong on any vehicle I own or that I work on. Splice, solder, and insulate. For my adapter harness I wrapped it all up with friction...
Knowing Tom, he probably picked it up while in California. The reason you don't seen them with out rear defrost, Derek, is because of where we live. It would be unimaginable to order a car without...
I saw that post, then noticed you retracted it. I decided to keep the mention of the Hoppy 46255 anyway. LOL
Edit: this is just for the 4 pin connector, not a 7 pin. +1 regular relays can be used.
And a couple more diagrams from the '91 EVTM below.
Since I have my '98 homemade plug-n-play harness...
For my '98 MGM I have something similar to that Hoppy (46255) unit: Tow Ready Modulite Protector 119179/119180. Haven't installed it yet, but I did make my own plug-n-play harness since there are...
If we come up with an entire bumper for Grand1's '87 we can check to see if his core is ok. Even though his bumper has a rot hole there's still a chance the core might be ok. The only two suitable...
They fit the car as far as appearance goes. Not my style, but neither is my car (it's growing on me LOL).
edit: what's up with the keypad?...
Good suggestions from Tom in order to track down major problem(s).
How does the coolant look? I wonder if it was properly flushed when the new radiator was installed.
Also, make sure the...
I've reused the upper to lower intake gasket, you'll be fine there.
They may look ok, and functionally be fine, but one wrong move and they snap easy (which may be part of your concern of not wanting to remove the upper intake). Don't even sneeze on those tiny...
Also, if I'm not mistaken, the vac line at the intake connects to a much larger barb than at the MAP. If you got a line to fit the MAP it will be way too small for the intake end.
I don't remember if that one goes all the way under the intake. If it does, there's not much chance of replacing it with out at least lifting the upper intake. May not have to disconnect everything,...
