I should have said that I couldn't justify the price because I don't need it. If I did some research and really wanted to go this route, it's very possible the price is reasonable. A lot of material,...
Not something I would be interested in, but figured I'd share since I had never heard of such a thing.
I could never justify the price, but that's just me....
+1, 561. 562 should work as well.
I went with a cheap LED 561 from eBay about 5 years ago and it's still going. With the clear cover it's much brighter than the incandescent.
LOL, upper 20s here pretty nice day. I almost didn't put a hoodie on over my t-shirt and probably didn't need to.
I though I had measured 17 on my '87 CV and 17.5 on my '88 Country Squire when I...
'91 MGM, about 17ft 10inches (this is not necessarily an exact measurement), probably 18 if I had included my hitch. For some reason I thought it was closer to 17ft, but since I'm working from home I...
Absolutely what 87gtVic said. If you don't have the owner's manual with lighting schedule that gadget73 mentioned, pop the cover off the dome light to figure out which of the two styles you have....
Nice, reminds me of my time spent in the UP (Michigan's Upper Peninsula) in the mid 2000s. Every so often throughout the winter we had to move our cars from our assigned parking lot so the university...
Some in Detroit treat it like it is. There are some decent parts though.
We do have great junkyard picking in the Detroit area, but one of the biggest yards in Detroit closed for renovations a...
The rare hatchback '98 Grand Marquis.

But once the area goes downhill then you end up with lots of room in Detroit, I mean in the area, for junkyards. It's like the circle of junkyard life.
Insta-Clear windshield.
First clue was the box on the driver side inner fender, which lead me to see the 100 amp alternator, and finally the gold line along the outside of the windshield in a later...
Nice!
I ran the air box for at least a year, maybe a couple years, before I finally got around to bolting it down. Since I installed this in both '91s I already had the later inner fender and all...
Dad ran straight 50 weight and motor honey in "my" '87 CV when I was a junior in high school. He sold that car to a friend of his that needed a car a couple years after I drove it when I was put into...
As much time as I spend at JYs I should know that about price. Price of air box with and without MAF is quite different.
+1 '90-'91 CV/MGM washer reservoir is unique. I wonder if a washer bottle...
In California it will most likely be MAF, everywhere else it would be SD.
If you grab the fan shroud and coolant bottle make sure to grab the washer fluid bottle and the air intake tube/air cleaner...
It may not be constant although it seems that it should be. My '89 had a scratchy speedo cable near the end of its time. It was very infrequent and I never fixed it since I retired the car a year or...
Speedo cable is a good possibility based on where it sounds like it's coming from. I'm told you can lube the cable but I've never done it. Disconnecting the cable at the cluster and slowly pouring...
Herd to tell. What comes to mind is the speedometer cable. Another thing it reminds me of is a piece of rubber seal flapping in the wind on my windshield.
Something flapping in the wind seems like...
Nice pictures!
Quite the opposite of my road trip last week, LOL. I saw plenty of snow and sub-zero temps.
My '98 did over 27 MPG at 55 MPH, my '89 was just over 25 MPG at 55 MPH. Not a huge...
558 miles today, total round trip 1248 miles.
Did a little better on MPGs this time with 23.2 MPG for the trip home. Didn't hit 80 MPH for long stretches this time, which helped the MPGs.
MPGs...
I think '88-'89 is correct, I don't see shoulder belts in rear.
Not ridiculous price I think. If I had the money I might take it even with the (most likely) trashed interior. Some haggling required...
More pictures from today, 2-6-2021.
6° F when we ventured out around noon today. Half as much snow this morning compared to yesterday morning, but visibility in some spots was basically 0.
Stopped...
Welcome!
Your former ride looks great. Good luck on the search.
First couple of days up here were quite unusual for this time of year with a high of 37° F the other day.
Finally more like normal winter with barely double digit temps today and approaching a foot...
