I just vacuumed my car and its damp under the carpet on the passenger side. I think I finally found that mysterious coolant leak I've been unable to locate for the last few months.

The heater core I got from NAPA was pretty decent, resembled the OEM core pretty well, all brass construction.
Dont remember if there was a tag saying where it was made.

Replaced the heater core on AOD's 85 2door this weekend. picked up a heater core from carquest, it was made in USA and had a restrictor built into the core.
                  I think it was $47.

I replaced my 250,000 mile original heater core with nothing less than Fords authentic part. Let me tell you boys, I have never felt a heavier core than that baby.

                      Good info!
I'll replace mine when the motor is out. I may need to relocate it slightly when the quad-cam goes in...
