    seems like you would need to replace the first gear thrust washer or run shock proof oil if you gonna tear around on it.

            I have heard that. I have some mags with supra's in there if I can find one I will post what the torque the are running is just so you can see if it would work or not

              Its prolly alot better than a t5 but, you have to use the adapter bellhousing and I'll probably need a new drive shaft yoke to fit the r154.

              I still want to use the t56, I might call around and see if I can find anything that will work.

                How about a ManuMatic trans from a Toyota IS 300? push buttin shifts Or just let it shift by itself??? Sound cool?

                  Getting it to fit a 302 is the problem. Its also just a glorified automatic transmission, or "stick shift for idiots" as I tend to refer to them. Its for people who cant drive manual but want the control. Its a regurgitated modernized version of the manual valve body auto trans with a ratchet shifter. There are few new ideas in the automotive industry, most of them are just recycled old ideas.
