    Pics for timing cover and radiator upgrade.

    No write-up yet, time still crunching me. But I figured I'd go ahead and post up the pics.

    Keep in mind the engine is a 94-95 model mustang engine, so the timing cover and water pump are different.

    Parts used:
    Waterpump (Ford Racing)
    Timing Chain kit (Trick-Flow)
    Timing Cover gasket kit (Felpro)
    Alluminum 2 row radiator (Summit Racing)
    16psi radiator cap (Summit Racing)
    Tranny cooler (Flex-A-Lite)

    You would not want to use that tranny cooler as an oil cooler. the tubes are too small. You need at bare minimum 1/2" for oil. 5/8" is prefered.

          That rad is better then the ford racing one we have in the 89 GM...can you use the silicone hoses from the mustang too? trust me they are awesome!

            Not on the lower. notice the lower outlet is at an angle and is probalby bigger than stock. Mine was the same way. You have to use a 1172 (iiirc) hose and cut some off each end to make it work.

              Yep, used that hose exactly. However the correct part number is L1172 at Autozone.

              I don't know if I can use the silicone hoses. I always forget what my upper hose is from. I think it may actually be from a mustang, but now the lower hose wouldn't match.

                Yeah looks like Mustang or Mark VII with the 90 degree tstat neck. Panther ones are a 45 degree, and panther radiators also have a bigger upper spout. The Mark VII upper radiator connector is smaller. Thats the hose we had to use on the SuperLincoln because the upper port on the 4 core rad was smaller.
