    '82 Barometric Pressure Switch

For some odd reason the Barometric Pressure Switch on my '82 has been cut out of the car. Anyone got any idea of what it could look like? According to my EVTM manual, it only has two wires going to it, a dark blue/light green stripe and a black. No vacuum lines or anything else. If any of you all have one, I might be interested in it.

According to my EVTM, it only came on High-Altitude 5.0L models. It advanced the timing and adjusted the carb above 4000 feet. It seems EEC-II could do more than I thought. 351W had a knock sensor too... I never knew that either.

It would be on the drivers side fenderwell, behind the voltage regulator.

Here is a crappy picture, buy you get the idea:

Just curious, are you re-installing it for a specific reason, or just for the hell of it?

Mostly just for the heck of it, but I'd like it to be there.

I'm addressing the super rich conditions during warm up, but I don't think the barometric pressure switch is related to the problem.

I wonder if its the same as the B/MAP used on an EEC III car, but only using one side of it.
