New pics as promised, I washed the car quick. Notice the straight front bumper! I'm really pissed that I havent got my tires yet so I'm riding all half ass for right now. I want to take it to the shows but I dont want to get laughed at for that. So I guess I'll keep working and wait. I also fixed the seat belts so they retract now and ripped out some sound deadener and carpet pading behine the rear seat. I gotta say tho, the car is so nice to work on cause it has so little rust. Its almost like a new car. Enjoy!

Get some burnout videos when you get those rear tires. BTW, it looks good.

Haha... yeah, I dunno why you havent done it yet either. I think it makes the car look a ton better. That was a good idea!

The 85 is gonna stay for a little bit till I get most everything off it. Then its going to the yard. You can see it in the backround getting taken apart piece by piece. I miss that car even tho the 87 is 100x better.

I gotta throw my exhaust on asap cause this car is way too quite for me. Its not gonna be the same without my motor in there tho, that was a hot 302!

Yep, you definitely have to do it, it was a great idea. Since it is pretty much the only orange piece on the car, it really looks a lot cleaner without it.

Are you not swapping that motor to the 2 door?

The orange reflector piece is just held on with a little glue to the clear part. If you're lucky you can pop the whole thing off in one try then just scrape/sand any extra glue off. Sometimes you have to break it off in little pieces until it is all gone. Looks great when its done though.

No, I building a 351 for it. If I have time I might drop the block and stuff off at the Machine shop and make a run down to Summit to get some parts. I dont know what I'm gonna do with the 302, I might rering it and throw the E7's I have lying around on it and put it in my truck or somthing if nobody buys em.

But yea, chip the orange stuff off. I used varying grits of sand paper to get the glue and stuff off. Worked it with 1500 wet sand, then meguire's plast-X polish.

                              Update-

I threw in a trac-loc carrier this weekend. So now I got a 3.27 posi! I'm not satisfied tho, so when I scrape more cash together I'm going to get some 4.10's or 3.73's.
