Yeah, seems like it's always good body and bad frame or vice versa, never both. Seen it multiple times on my cars and my dad's as well. Goofy stuff.

Too bad you don't live closer to me. I got a box TC down the street from me that could be used as a parts car. It has no motor and hasn't seen the road in years. It was a flood victim. I am pretty sure the frame on it is in decent shape and you could probably salvage other pieces from the car.

X2 The tranny crossmember on my wagon was rusted in two, but the frame is fine.

Sure it does. Like first-gen Mustangs, they were maliciously designed to rust out from under themselves so 5 to 10 years down the road, you'll buy a new one. Father Ford doesn't make money off us keeping 25-year-old cars on the road.

I'm driving it again. Still has the rusty frame, been sitting on grass for four years, and it hasn't gotten any worse. Figure that one out.

Not bad at all. To be fair, I usually started it and drove it around the block once a year during the time that it sat, but it would go for that entire year without being started and then always fire right up, even with the old gas in it.
