You could be low on turn signal fluid. I would check the muffler bearings.

i had a 400 in dads 78 f150.....motorand trans were out of my 77 ltd.....mom wrecked my ltd and i blew the 302 and c4 in dads truck.....so i had the ltd driveline installed in the truck.......it was a beast.....lots of power

Our mild 400 had enough torque to blow the pinion out of the nodular on the 9". Sure pains me to see that bronco rotting in my parents driveway...Needs a trans and a body, and a chassis....
The pushrods are long and not perpendicular to the rocker and lifter side loads them. AAFTERMARKET ONESS DO A LOT BETTER. Mine has about 375 HP pocket ported heads W]Offy intake and 750 holley with a hiway towing cam 3000 rpm stall. Quickk powerfull and fast have hit 140 and was still pulling.
