Damn. I was waiting for that to happen. Sorry to hear it.

Sounds like time to turn your T5 into an A5:

                http://www.astroperformance.com/prod...roducts_id/207

That website also sells single stock components in case you decide to just replace what you've broken.

T5s are some of the simplest manual transmissions to rebuild. I doubt you'd have a problem doing it yourself. There are a couple guide videos that I've heard REALLY help out. If I can find the link to one that seems to get the most positive feedback I'll send it your way.

Oops, forgot about this one. I knew there was a cheaper kit available.

Keep in mind after buying this kit you still need to buy a rebuild kit if you're going to replace the synchros, seals and bearings. Rebuilding a T5 is something you can do in an afternoon with access to a press.

Damn, I also forgot to mention -

You may be able to save money by just buying a decent-condition T5Z, which is the T5 available through FRPP and came in the '93 Mustang Cobra. I've seen them go as cheap as $500 on corral.net, though the average for a used one is around $150 more most of the team. I see them rebuilt with under 3,000 miles on them for around $800 on the Corral fairly often.

Well I went to the shop that I had it dyno'd at and gave the tranny to their tranny guy. He is supposed to call me with an est.

You should call D&D performance, and ask them about a rebuild. They can help point you in the right direction of making it stronger so this has less of a chance of happening again. I bought my Tremec from them. Damned good guys!

Pesty, I'd definitely suggest looking into doing it yourself with stronger components. You can save a shitload of money that way, and I assure you you possess the mechanical ability to do it. The T5 is an incredibly simple transmission. I had mine apart and back together within two hours of getting it home, and you've done a lot more complicated work than I've ever done..
