    No up-dates for 2017...

Put my '90 CV in storage last weekend. I spent too much money on the '94 CV and '79 TC to get them inspected this year...That's life!

        2020 up-date

Recent service history: oil-change, battery and driver's side rear power window motor. The driver's side rocker panel had some holes. Got that fixed and now the inspection is good

Is your '90 a summer cruiser?

Yes sir. I didn't store it last Winter because money was tight. I just moved it around after each snow storm.

              Driver's side rocker panel repair.

I paid $250 to have this repair done by a small body shop last month.

Your CV looks sharp. You have had it quite a few years and have taken care of it. That is a decent price for repair work.

What did they repair? Looks like they just shot bedliner over that area. I can see rust through the edge areas. I need to repair the windshield area of my truck. Tape is keeping the water out. Repair means kicking the windshield out and that means no going back.

I sprayed rocker guard (tan colour) on the rocker panels a few years ago. The outer rocker panel was flaky in a couple of spots. The inner rocker panel had a few holes. That's grey paint, not bed-liner. For $250, I wasn't expecting perfection. Do you have an F-150?

Cleaner than my summer cruiser. I'm missing most of the passenger side rocker panel.

                      No F-150. He's got an '89 GMC.

Derek, if you want some practice with windshield replacement and rust repair, I have a good windshield in the '89 that could be swapped into The Scab. A second set of hands could be useful. Of course I would then need to get supplies and then find time to actually do it.
