      update 2

      here's a few more. we've put some time and money in this beast but i think the outcome was worth it. next will come the cam. then instead of a beast it'll be beasty.

            my neighbor had them in strorage for a few years. wanted 200 but my dad got him down to 180. i think they make the car look so much better.

                  the consol is out of a 77 mustangII. we built the bottom portion to raise it higher but we're not done with it yet. dad took the electical portion off the original drivers side seat and mounted to the bucket seat and another one from the junk yaed for the passenger side. now he's going to mount the seat controls to the sloped portion of the consol (the part going from the lower part to the armrest. oh and we made the cup holder in the center too.

                    Still dig the console, and of course the kewl vintage Holley valve covers!

                    BTW, do you have any pics of how you massaged the seat brackets?

                          How wide are your wheels versus the ones you had before? They look a lot wider, looks meaner now. And great work all around, that's one awesome Panther no joke.

                              86vickie: no the console isn't functional yet, i,m waiting on the money for a shift kit since i have to go inside the tranny and flip the shifter linkage around, i figured i might as well do it all at the same time, just need money

                              88vic:first it came with the stock wire hubcaps and 215/75/15 tires, the we put on my cousins wheels, they were alright but just looked to small. they were 205/75/14.
                              now the new ones are just right i think, their 235/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rears.

                                That may be the best looking 2 door I've seen. Nice work man...I ain't much for 2 doors, but I'd drive that.
