got most of the sound deadening scraped. all thats left ois a 1'x1' piece on the rear floor board and some under the pedals.

Got the carpet installed along with the seats and belts, also the kick panels.

was looking at the shifter and im going to have to pirate some console shift parts off of a t-bird or Mark 7 at the junkyard.

had the car running, with a blip of the throttle the entire car torques up about 1-2" on the drivers side

I love torque. My mom's Olds Cutlass would do that too but it had super mush springs. Absolutely NOT because of the 3.8L shitpile under the hood. That thing had no power at all.

finally got the fuel cell mounted. the forward sloping trunk floor cause it to more difficult than it should have been. to get the cell level (although mine ended up with the front higher than back) i cut (2) 3.5" sections of about 1/16th" stainless pipe and used those as spacers for the front two bolts of the mounting straps, the back i bolted straight through the floor. i drilled the straps to accept 1/2" bolts. the cell is secured by 4 1/2" thick grade 8 bolts, hardened washers and hardened lock-nuts, it is not going anywhere

put the last bolt in to secure the fuel cell, attached the grounding strap to the filler neck, bolted the battery down and vacumed the trunk out.

here you can see the spacers i used to level the cell

Rear shocks are in they are El-Cheapo Gabriels (they are all red) from auto zone $13.99 these are only temporary until i buy a pair of Carrera shocks. Its is suprising hopw stiff the car is now with shocks at all four corners beginning of next week im going to order my radiator, an aluminum race radiator from summit, also get the shifter cable, then i need to make a shifter cable bracket to go on the tyranny, and i need to flip the shift arm. The rear brakes are next weekend.
