Y no EGR? No likey the look of it on there?

The heads had no provision for EGR. I would have kept it otherwise.

At first I switched to that tune and the idle was SMOOTH, smoothest the car has been yet and I was HAPPY. Then I blipped the throttle and it did not know what to do anymore. It also made the engine shake and sound funny when revving it. I promptly switched back to tune 3 and it is happy and super responsive at all RPMS and as soon as you let off the gas the idle drops right back down to where it should be NO hunting at all.

When you're changing the tunes, are you clearing the KAMRFs? You should be otherwise it won't follow the tune exactly until it relearns.

Nope. Just doing it on the fly while running. Would this mean unhooking the cars battery?

No. In the search bar of binary editor. Which you can do by pressing 'Control F' Type in 'Z_KAMCLR' This is the PID for clearing the KAMRF. Select it. And then change the value from Normal to Clear KAMRF. Write it to the ecu and then switch it back to normal and write it again.

Do this while running or with key on engine off?

                              Where's the burnouts?

This is good, now our engines have the same idle.

Haven't driven it yet. First 500 on it will be easy. After that all bets are off.

Ordered an oil catch can to go in line with the pcv valves vacuum line. I have an explorer lower intake with only the itty bitty oil shield so I figured I rather try this out then outright replace the intake.
