Ask Nick about how he hacked his together, I'm sure it's not rocket science. What'd you pick up a set of fox pedals for? I know a guy who strips foxbodies and has relatively good prices.

Whatchu gonna build for this beast, brew?

This is for down the road...way down the road. I will need to pull a 87 and down box panther pedal assembly then cobble everything together. I have pics of other already done, pictures of the process, saved chat messages of how to do the whole swap etc etc......If I get stuck I will give him a hollar.

I paid 52 shipped door my door step. Worth it to me considering it would have been a pain in the rear to remove it myself. I will put that effort to pulling a 87 and down box panther one now at the junkyard.

Just purchasing a rebuilt 302 block with pistons from LMR. I have already in possession New Trick Flow twisted wedge cylinder heads, TF stage one camshaft, gt40 lower intake, gt 40 tubular upper intake.

Well damn bro-man. You're aiming for quite the setup. If only TF heads weren't so costly...:|

Changed the oil today and covered her back up.

Also picked up some diodes to use in getting my air fuel ratio gauge a ground indicating WOT for a "Peak" function it has. Too cold for me to solder that in line. The diode is there to ensure the gauge gets the ground and not the power from the ecm when that particular pin off of the computer fluctuates between power and ground.

Also received another pedal assembly minus the assembly. Just the 18mm nut, the shaft the clutch pedal attaches to and another clutch pedal after I snapped the threads of the last one I picked up. I'll be more careful this time around.

            Tone it down, muscles.

I thought you stored the car in the garage during winter?

Nope not here. Just in the back yard under a cover for the winter instead of on the street under a cover like it lives the rest of the year.

This would terrify me in the winters with plows.

That wouldn't fly around here even in the summer. Somebody would call the township and have it towed. Either that or some spoiled brat in his 20's would vandalize it.

If its a tagged, inspected, and insured vehicle you can do whatever you like with it. The township crap is if you have something just sitting that is not currently legal. That, and its a sign you need to move somewhere that has people that mind their own business.

Today was a beautiful morning so I took her out and stretched her legs a bit and snapped a few pics of some LATE LATE fall foliage...

When I got back I soldered in the diode to prevent 12vdc from getting to my air fuel ratio gauge because it is only calling for a ground when at WIDE OPEN THROTTLE.

                        My work table:

The wire I want to attack is under there....the orange and light blue one...

                        The diode in place:

And some general engine bay pics:

Dave: if that's the brown wire from your gauge, you have the diode backwards. the stripe end of the diode should be pointed towards the ECM, not the gauge. That, or it's an optical illusion looking at that pic.

Found some good deals on the stang websites so I put in an order for ford racing ceramic shorty headers, SVE high torque mini starter, timing cover and some new starter bolts. Getting really close on pulling the trigger purchasing a new engine.......
