Cool beans. Awaiting said videos. I put the summer meats back on the box, dry rotted Michelins, I'll have to do a burnout soon since it's no longer a peg legger.

        Chugging aways…

BBK 2.5 off road H pipe installed, welded in o2 bung, installed all oxy sensors, ac belt, alt belt, ac bracket, alt bracket, pressed on power steering pulley, radiator, fan shroud (half assed hanging there for the time being), fan pulley and fan, upper and lower radiator hoses, heater hoses and harness to alternator, distributor, coil and air compressor.

O2 bung ready to tac in place:

^7/8" hole is needed. used a 7/8" step drill bit. Perfect!

Flux core welded in there like a boss…a boss who is a super novice welder that is….

        It will hold!

Wide band o2 in the stock location and the stock narrow band in the newly installed bung:

BBK 2.5” off road h pipe:

^^^You can see in the middle the standard u bolt clamp holding the crossover together. Wanted to use a stainless band clamp but it wouldn’t tighten enough. I have to find one for a lap joint. I had a butt joint band clamp.

Radiator fan shroud has to be properly secured up top:

Currently the fan shroud is clipped in at the bottom but I have to make something work for up top. Probably going to dremel out a channel to slip the j-nut in place and install it that way.

Also that radiator (3 core) is a pain in the dick. Had to finagle the external trans cooler lines to fit around the tank and it sits a bit crooked. I need to find another drivers side lower isolator or cut more out of the passengers side lower one for it to sit level....so that means it will stay the way it is.

            Thanks John.

I think some precipitation will be going on and all work is done outside. Not yet.

I got my moates quarterhorse and binary editor dongle in the mail yesterday. Gotta pull the puter and fit the chip in. Also gotta figure out how they intend for the usb B/device cable end to mount. it came with a metal bracket...just not understanding.

I think its sort of a mount anywhere you find appropriate sort of deal. I have a spot for the old cable drive passenger mirror on my car that isn't there. I was thinking of fitting it in that spot, and maybe making a fancy looking cap to hide it if/when I ever get around to doing that.

I just dont understand how to utilize the metal frame provided. The USB B cable is already panel mount capable...yet they provide a metal frame with mounting holes for it and an angled tab with a hole and some ittie bittie screws.

I figured that was the intent. The hardware leads me to question wtf to do.

Also, your super novice welds are better than my super novice welds. But yes, they will hold for sure.

Flux wire bugs me. Makes my already shitty welds look even shittier. I'm better with a torch and a coat hanger than I am with a MIG.

I used it as just a support thing for my cable. however, I should have moved it over more, as the fuse box panel doesn't sit against the dash properly.

                              Engine Start Fail

Threw on the last bits to get the bish running today before I go away, (NCAA Final Four Work) and things did not go well.

Started with the fuel pressure regulator failing at the crimp between the upper and lower housing. FU. Ripped off the upper intake and ran out to the parts store to purchase another one. Installed it then it was time to fire?

Welp as you see that did not go well. Not only did it not want to run, it sounds like there is a gigantor vacuum leak, misfire, coolant pipe leaking at the swivel and it is running 16.0 LEAN on the wide band. We only found this stuff out AFTER we pulled the MAF and actually got it to somewhat idle…I use that term loosely and we did not time it as the pipe was gushing fluids. Wide band reading went down to 11 or so when romping on it still with MAF removed. I have a tune to throw at the ECM from Willie at dirtydirty racing but want to get this weirdness sorted out first.

Since the heater pipe is leaking dad and I ripped out the upper intake again and removed the heater pipe tube and disassembled it to find that the O rings were non-existant in form anymore. Just moosh. Poo. Gotta either get more o rings or purchase a repopped mustang pipe.

I have a week and a half to sit on it all and figure out whats next…..
