Ill find one for you Jim.

Another set of Trickflow valve covers came in. I will now get the fill tube in a spot that does not lean on the ac lines.....Annoyed me so I purchased new one. Good think I am a pro at removing the upper intake after all my engine start fails (due to warped upper intake mating surface).

This will be done when the heat goes away....May dabble with installing the new autometer gauges as well.....

You can see it under the radio slot.

It would then just flip down and have a cigarette lighter and ash tray.

I've still got one or two of the consoles w/the info center in them, now I'm wondering if they would work in a bucket seat panther lol.

With a little fabricobbling of brackets I am sure it will fit and look neat.

You'd have to make those lamp outage things work correctly though. If you're gonna have the cheesy 80s-ness of it, it must be fully working.

I looked into doing this and you would need to harvest and incorporate resistance wires (according to the EVTMs) to have them function. A lot of work that I have yet allowed myself to do.

yeah, it involves resistance wires and the control module. All of the lamp outage systems work about the same way, its looking for voltage drop across the line. Less than expected drop means less current draw, which must mean a blown lamp. LEDs and relays throw it for a loop though because it unloads the current.

Even if you skip that, I recall those had warnings for washer fluid, the hatch turning into a jar, and probably some other things. Its been quite some years since I was in a car that had one of those.

They make a nice pod to put 3 gauges in that area, thats what I aim to do.

This is why I installed the annoying door/ignition/seatbelt buzzer in place of the chime!

The buzzer is very 1970s. Never cared for those. The chime isn't maddening initially but it gets to be horrifying to listen to after about a minute. Mine started doing that while driving one night. I had to listen to that SOB for about 20 minutes until I got where I could pull over. It was removed forever at that time, probably 10 years ago now.

Latest water pump job appears to be a success. No longer low on coolant, no longer have coolant spewing out and no longer have an overflow tank that coolant does not move around it. Damned water pumps....

Welp considering that is all taken car of I guess I can get to reinstalling the lower splash shield on her as well as the lower air dam. Kinda curious how everything will fit under there with the new sway bar in place. I had to hack the plastic for the shield to work with the addcco front bar but now am running a stock 02 bar that should technically work well with the splash shield...Meaning I may need another one for things to not look goofey.

I also need to still take car of this:

Oils seeping out of the grommet because of the stress (nothing major) the fill tube is under. I have the valve cover just need the ambition to do the deed.

Otherwise all is well with the beast:

She runs like a fucking champ. Super happy. MPGs in the 20's EASY cruising at 70!

                                Just happy.
