The name London taxi explain itself, they are for travelling around in London (you get them in other cities too), not really designed for lots and lots of luggage so not really suitable for trips to Airports etc. There is usually enough space on the floor in the back for luggage. Bloody expensive to buy brand new, great turning circle and mpg though.

Ah, see, I'm used to seeing Caprices and Crown Victorias as taxis, and you know trunk space isn't a concern on those.
