    more scottfest info

    all are invited to my fifth annual Scottfest hosted by lincolnmania and grandmarq.net
    when: august 7-10 2009
    where: Scotts Automotive Service/ Skippyville
    35 north tremont street tremont pa 17981
    activities: fri 8/7: get ready for the event......5 pm head to numidia speedway for drag racing!
    sat 8/8: car show, cookout (we start cooking around noon) bring your parts to sell or trade.......cruise around the coal reigons ending in centrailia pa around 4 pm, then a walk around what used to be the town of centrailia.......more cooking out, beers, lots of conversation around the campfire till? lol
    sunday 8/9: cruise to ez pull and save for a fun day of harvesting......after that cookout, and some tech time then a campfire
    monday 8/10: possible trip to harrys u-pull-it, or a trip to the yuengling brewery.......more cooking out as needed......cleanup

    i have about an acre of nice camping spots for tents and tent campers......if you need a hotel, there are several nearby

    hope to see you here in august!!

    1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
    2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
    1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
    1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
    2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
    1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

    please be patient, rebuilding an empire!

    Was the Town of Centralia large? I saw some pics of previous years. It looks really interesting.

    And I am smiling ear to ear with the possibility of two i repeat, two Junkyard visits!

          Should head up to Weatherly PA to the place they do the hill climb.

          About an hour drive.

            Williams Grove is about an hour away too, and I loves me some sprint car racing...

                    Sounds like that hill climb thing would be a good big brake advertisement. The cruise up 125 we did the one year was pretty effective too. I smelled lots of cooking brakes in front of me lol.

                            i was just wondering when the trip to the drags would be. i will be there with one of the marquis' at least. maybe both, or if something crazy happens maybe the ranchero will be ready for the track again by then. ill try to work my work schedule around so i can make it to as much as i can...
