    Transmssion Forum

You know, I was thinking, we need one. you can have all the AOD, AODE, and 4R70W info piled into one really awesome forum. That will give the J-mod links somewhere the live. (you could sticky that) And a place for the adventurous ones who have done the 5-speed swap to share.
Just saying. I think the transmission is important. After all, I did just change the tranny in the Marauder.
    Thank you for listening.

I'm actually thinking this is a good idea for a separate forum! Now we need CONTENT!

I've been moving transmission threads from 5.0 into drivetrain for a while now.

I don't think the transmission goes with the suspension as well as it would the motor, so like a sub forum in the 5.0/5.8 and 4.6 sections.

Well, looks like there's not a whole lot of support

I could always make an "Exhaust" forum and make 88vic the moderator, since he's obsessed with it.

I enjoy it since it's like the one area I actually understand, mostly.

Hell, i would be all for it. I could think of a few good chunks of info that would make good stickies. Theres certainly enough transmission related threads scattered and splattered throughout the forums. With how many problems people have with the aod on a regular basis, im sure it would be a fairly lively forum.

yes. like a sticky for how to change your tranny filter. You'd be surprised how many people don't know how to. or j-mod. ot torque converters. or what fluids.
I believe it needs it's own forum or sub-forum.
Besides the engine, it's the second most important part of the car. That's a fact. I saw it on the internet, therefore, it's true.
It takes your horsepower and makes the car go forward.
