I think it was kishy who mentioned a box with DRLs. Apparently a thing in Canada circa 1990+. Believe it had no tailights which is how he knew from the pic I suppose. Now what exactly that module does, I am not sure.

usually it runs the high beams at reduced voltage. Should not run the tails. I always though this was a bad idea though, makes bikers even less visible than they already are.
