NOS fan clutches are a must have if you haven't retrofitted to an electric fan. I went through three aftermarket clutches in six months in my '90.

I have one...just to have...stored in a box. I did test it out on the workbench just to see if things were working right in case I ever decide to use it. Both my car and my fathers mustang (85) had a similar device at one point in time. I like it for the nostalgic factor.
Looks like that fan clutch is for tow package cars. IIRC tow package/heavy duty fan clutches lockup 80-90% whereas a standard duty one locks up about 60%. Did the tow package cars get a different fan blade too? I was going to pick this up but I have a non-tow package car and don’t want to grenade the fan.
