I've never seen a factory cruise module with a big Ford oval and a pinout sticker. Dealer install seems pretty likely. Probably the same module inside as the factory thing though.

No problem. It is an awful thing to replace. I admit now that I use the parking brake all of the time it would be nice to have it functioning...but it aint gonna happen.

I bought one for the Conti. After way too long I managed to get the bastard thing in there, only to find that one of the screw holes was stripped. First time I shifted through the gears, it moved out of position enough that the bit on the shift lever that engages the C shaped plastic thing on the release came out. The second time I shifted it through the gears, that bit on the shifter caught the top of the plastic part on the release and busted it so it won't stay engaged. I disconnected it and left it alone. So there is a nearly un-used broken part in that car that took me a good 2 hours to install and about 2 minutes to destroy. Fuck that thing.

That quarter panel includes more than I figured at the top. The c and d-pillar seams are where I would cut it and I figured that factory panel would cut there too. Maybe this replacement includes part of the roof for optional use.

May be more orientated towards the fox bodies but cool none the less. This particular one call for station wagons according to the packaging.

84 part number but seller mentions instructions saying for 74 model.

I dont know enough if it would be correct for the 80's models or not. part number wise it should be but who knows

unsure of the application. Skeptical about sellers claim of fitment.
