that grille is ligit but, im sure it requires mods to the fiberglass fromt clip. it was a very expensive option. some of the '88 merc aniversary editions had em.

You say that the 88's had them. That is an entire different header panel. These are for the 87 and downs. Maybe two types were made for both models?? It sorta reminds me on the continental package grille. I guess just because it is something different.~David~
