I wonder if something like this with the matching ecm would be any good for a car?

seems like the ecm would be the tough thing to find as that maf allegedly fits-

Thats a nice 2-door, fresh paint I think he is a little steep on the price, it may have new tires, exhaust and paint but the he says the engine needs work...idk I'd say $1500-$2000 is more like it.

But it does appear that the value of a nice 2-door is going up I keep seeing them for sale in good shape going for upwards of 2 or 3k, hell I've even seen some minty ones at around 5k and to be honest I wouldnt dismiss that price if the car was all clean, very low miles and my dream combo. I had a feeling that these cars, particularly the 2-doors, would be worth something someday....glad I have mine.

thats exactly what i was going to say last night. our cars are appreciating!

just a few weeks ago someone near my moms in michigan was trying to sell a clean blue on blue '89 mgm with 7xxxx for $5000.

another example near my moms in an '82 grand marquis brougham that is clean inside with around 80k miles but its seriously got the cancer in the normal spots. no holes yet but hardly a solid car. i mean it looks like it was a DD the last 30 years. he wanted $4500 or something like that.

yes both of these were/are overpriced but its flattering for them to think they might be worth that.

clean boxes are getting harder to find and when you do people arent giving them away anymore.

I know, these cars are starting to get the recognition. I was eyeballing an 83 MGM 4dr with 17xxx ORIGINAL miles about 8 miles from my house. The guy wanted 7500 for it. Went to look at it again about a week ago, and it was gone.
