    Cool Different Types of Fuel Injectors.

    Dont know if this is already here or not.

    But i found this just looking up random stuff.

    Hope it helps some people.

    cool.....the mk8 and continental 24's are not pictured tho
    fixed

    1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

    Nifty reference! I'd whine about it not including the ubiqiotus grey 14 lb. injector, but I doubt anyone really wants to see one of those ever again.

    was that just the stock lopo injector ??? Because it sounds pretty weak lol.

    The 2.3 too? I didn't know that. Was that only the base injected 2.3, and the turbo cars got bigger injectors?

    That'd be a 14 lb, I believe. LO 5.0, and 2.3, as Mike stated above.

    So if someone says they have an HO for sale and it has gray injectors I would doubt it's an HO....

    What different 2.3 motors? The turbo and non-turbo version? Thats really about the only different 2.3 I'm aware of, other than that funky 8 spark plug version used in Rangers.

    The turbo 2.3 uses 36 lb injectors stock they are brown tops I belive

    What kind of difference would I expect to see if I upgraded from the stock injectors? Is this something I could do myself?
    - 1990 Ford LTD Crown Victoria P72 - the street boat - 5.0 EFI - Ported HO intake/TB, Cobra camshaft, 19lb injectors, dual exhaust w/ Magnaflows, Smog & AC delete, 3G alternator, MOOG chassis parts & KYB cop shocks, 16" HPP wheels - Summer toy.

    - 2001 Buick Regal LS - Gary Buicy - 3800 Series II - Daily driver.
