I'm in the market for a tach for my Vic (among many other things, lights, center caps, rain guards, etc etc etc) and I see lots for sale but there are very few that I like the look of. It would be awesome to see some different ones installed before I picked something up.



Post a pic, and if possible the make/model of the tach you chose.

I can't post a picture. because I am at work. But, my tach is a 3 3/8" Autometer Sport Comp, mounted on the a pillar. Black face, with white letters, and an orange needle. Green lighting. It matches the factory speedo ok, which is what I wanted. The rest of my gauges are from the same line.

The Sunpro Super Tach II.

No complaints whatsoever with this tach, works perfectly.

They're lit green like the stock speedo, eh? If I can pull the bulb out and pop a blue one in there..

Sunpro Super Tach II. Mounted on the Dash in the corner. Looks like LTDMan83, cept I replaced the green light with blue LED's.

How did you get more than one LED in yours Jon?? I could only rig one measly 5mm in the tiny socket of mine.

I shoved them really close together I think, this was 3 or 4 years ago, will have to go out and see exactly how I did it lol

Well damn, it was just one lol. I think I tried 2 but it wouldn't fit lol

It was my other Sunpro gauges I did the two bulbs in, only because there were those bigger bulbs in there.

I guess i should have went the rout you guys were taking, because i paid 33 dollars for my green LED that fits directly into the socket. (12V rated)
