    Are Bullitts available in 16 inch?

    Just curious, can't seem to locate them in that size...

    I don't think so. Might be able to get something similar from American Racing, in that size.

      Want to keep a decent ride.

      Thinking Bullitts painted to match my Lincoln would be nice.

              i think there is 16" torq thrust's out there.
              Finally have an on the books porting/custom fab business!

                  Don't be afraid to go 17"... it won't hurt your ride quality. You can still put plenty of rubber on a 17 on these cars.

                  Greater selection of tires available for 17's too.

                    Not true at all.

                    I went from 215/75/14 to 235/60/15 and the ride quality went down significantly. Sure, handle great, but you feel alot more bumps and dips.

                      I know I've seen Torq Thrusts in 16". There was someone on here with a whale body MGM in the Spruce Green color with 16" Torq Thrusts.

                          boxes on 14" tires should be banned lol......feels like driving a bowl of jello
                          235/55/17 on a 17" wheel gives a decent ride on a mark i am told.......stock mustang size too so the prices are good

                          1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

                            Might have a good bit to do with where you drive. If you live somewhere like I grew up where they resurface the roads every 3 years, I could easily see not not noticing much ride deterioration with 17s. Nothing at all like that where I live now (road surfaces here would look right at home in Detroit!).

                              Ride quality is pretty subjective, so we can agree to disagree here. I changed from stock 15's to stock (Mustang) 17's. In my opinion it still does not handle great, but does handle SAFELY, which it did not with 15's. I can't imagine what a joke these cars would be with 14's.
