I give it about 2 months before we see a "First 5-speed in an '09 GMQ" thread.

Very nice. However, you must trade it in immediately on this and put the 17's on it with Ford centers Click image for larger version

It's gorgeous to drive. I washed him tonight, here's a couple pics. Gotta get a chamois, and some wax soon. Also looking to do a pinstripe delete.

                          Male cars FTW!

Pinstripe delete would be fitting. Its just vinyl right?

Yeah, just that crap. Luckily, I got a heatgun, which will make quick work of it I'll have to pick up a plastic scraper.

Do you have a few tips for heat-gunning the pinstriping without damaging the paint? My experiments so far have failed, which is why I've been planning on getting one of those 3M "vinyl erasers". Though, I could see where the heat-and-scrape method could work better with a stripe that's not 28 years old and heavily oxidized.

The "eraser" is by far the easiest way to do it. Just don't stay in one area too long, because it can heat the paint up from the friction. But you really have to get carried away with it before it will do any damage to the paint.
