        skippyville is a 5 hour pleasure cruise up 81 after a few windy mountains for me.

          it takes forever to get out of va on I 81
          I take I 270 to route 15 to I 83 to I 81

            61 sucks. 78 can too, its very unpredictable.

The rest of that route I don't know but dumping straight off 81 is dead simple and pretty much guaranteed to not hit any appreciable traffic. Interstates are boring as hell sometimes, but they do get you where you're going.

                If you really do want to run on 78 at some point, I can give you alternate directions that avoids all of 61, but it can be slightly confusing. Probably adds a few miles to the trip as well, and it involves a nice fuel sucker mountain to climb.
                Thanks for the warning. I guess I'll tough it out on 84-81. The last time I traveled that road, I had no radio, and a resonating shift knob... This time shouldn't be that bad. Actually, I don;t have anything against 81. Its the bullshit of nothing to see on 84.

                      :stfu1: dammit. You could be right though Nate. The Whitestone and Throgs Neck bridge are both in horrible condition lately. I live a block away from the Whitestone, and i see both bridges through my houses windows. I hope it is smooth sailing for me though.

                        1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

                                i doubt i will ever exceed the speed rating.....just wanted some good tires.....hope i made a good choice

                                should have most of the fleet functioning.....all cept the volvo
