Hey, Im DiVin3 I just bought a 1987 LTD Crown Vic in July of 2009. Its got a Ford 5.0 EPI in it.I don't know much about cars but I figured this would be an opportunity for me to learn about them. I love the way the Panther series cars look. i also own an 05 Mercury Mountaineer. I hope the people here can help me out and I could learn a few things. Im located in VA so anyone that could help me with a few things that would b greatly apprieciated.

I believe you mean EFI and not EPI .... the good ol' fuel injected "lowpo" 5.0 is a fairly reliable motor in stock form, and there's lots you can do with it!
You're fortunate in your location, as the heaviest concentration of our members is in and around eastern Pennsylvania, with at least one or two injection guru types right there in Virginia. Us stragglers out here in Indiana and Michigan have to try a lot harder to meet up with one another, and getting more than two in the same place at the same time is a nearly insurmountable undertaking!2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!
