I wouldn't necessarily call it a U-turn as more less an evil 180 complete with thick black rubber left on the street.

Ok so the shuddering came back. So I figured the gas was dirty enough to clog the filter again. It helped a little bit but it is still having a serious lack of power and wanting to die. Any guesses on where I should go from here?

No its solid. It drives around fine and you wouldn't know there was an issue if you never went past 3/4 throttle. It tends to do it more after its all the way warmed up. And will also will do it when its in neutral.

pull the codes maybe. How many miles? Original plugs? Any water down in the plug wells? Boots torn on the coils?

Well pulled the codes and got a evac deal. Pulled the injectors out and try looked like they were full of alabama mud. So I think I might have to go though the whole fuel system and clean it out. This is going to suck.

I think those injectors are the same as the old style injectors, and are 19#. They should be easy to come by!

All the part #'s I was pulling up was showing it as '00 and up but will older ones still work? New they want 90 bucks a pop. So having more years available would be easier to find in a junk yard.

Well dropped the tank and its pretty damn gooey. I think Im going to have to rip a whole fuel system out of a junk yard car. Yay just what I wanted to be doing.

Does anyone know how the vapor system and fill tube come out of the top off the tank? I don't wanna break anything yanking on it.

it looks like you are on to something, but on those motors the symptoms you describe are usually COP's crapping out

depends if the injector plugs are EV1 or EV6 style. No functional difference, but the plugs are not the same. Older style square plug is EV1, smaller rounded plug is EV6. Snag a set out of a junkyard car that got wrecked hard.
