Yeah, I have to work that weekend. And I can't take off. Mandatory formation with blues inspection that Saturday. And I cannot get out of it. Poo.
    Looks like another year passes.

nope. This is the first time since leaving the honor guard that i've had to put on blues.
Group CC says open ranks blues inspection, and if you haven't rescheduled the UTA before march, you can't miss it.
I was planning on rescheduling anyway, but i guess i got boned.

I'm curious if a group trip might be possible in order to defray some costs. We've got a few guys within a couple of hundred of miles from you.

08 was THE best year. 05 was good too, but 08 was the best.

A panther carpool/convoy sounds like a great idea... it would have to ship out early but gas savings/company/driving help would make it something Id even go for! I hate long drives... my 6 hour trip pushes my limit, but I'm still going for 100% attendance for as long as scottfests are being held. All I have to do is wait for Thaine to miss a year and I'll be the only one

You guys better make sure you like each other before you agree to get in the same car and drice across the country.

... that would be such a messed up trip, otherwise.

I'd say the first 3 years were the best, especially #1. I dont know how I managed to cram all that crap in my celica and make the trip straight through, but we made it. going sideways around the rain-soaked corner was hella fun
