What? You wanna go? You're welcome to tag along... Disasterfest2k10 has apparently hit Connecticut as I went out today to find that my El Camino had blown another ignition coil. Can't get the parts until Monday.

Cut the good one and connected it to the TBL. It just barely reached but it held long enough to get back to the shop. Picked up replacements today, but as usual nobody actually had the right shit. I got one hose at Napa, got half of the other at Autozone. Hopefully its enough that I can get something together on it.

Brought home the roof chunk, an inner fender from a 1990 Towncar, a fuse box from a 98 Grand Marq and plenty enough wires on the fuse box that I ought to be able to tuck most of the BS that lives on the inside of the fender out of sight so it won't look so horrible. I'll wait to do that until we decide if that fender needs replacing or not. I'm not fighting that plastic liner in there if the outer metal fender is going to end up being removed anyway. Its got no rot, but I noticed some funky ripples over the wheel lip from the tire crashing into the wheelwell over the years.

Cool.... fuse box here you come.

oh and be careful when you re-pin the connectors of the fuse box. Those little tabby holder things like to break.

I want to go, but I just have too much other stuff going on now.

we were getting the donor 4.6 bastard block engine ready to put in the 92 grand marquis.......changing the spark plugs, one of the plugs came out of the hole without the threaded part, that is still stuck in the cylinder.......i'm currently taking a break from getting it out, if it does not come out, i have a 302 high output here from a 92 cougar......thain and ryan are replacing the heater hoses on my townie, then we are going to replace ryans steering box
